This Data Deletion Policy explains how users can request the deletion of their personal data processed by Asistone Yazılım ve Teknoloji Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi ("Asistone", "we", "us", or "our"). This policy applies to all Asistone products, including Asistone AI and Asistone ERP.

  1. Scope

This policy applies to all personal data processed through Asistone's services, including data obtained via:

  • Messaging platforms (such as WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook Messenger)
  • E-commerce integrations (such as Shopify and other marketplace platforms)
  • Advertising integrations (such as Meta Marketing API)
  • WhatsApp Campaigns and marketing features
  • ERP and business management features
  1. How to Request Data Deletion

Users may request the deletion of their personal data by sending an email to:

The request should include sufficient information to identify the relevant account (e.g., registered email address or associated business account).

  1. Account Deletion

When a user requests account deletion:

  • The account will be scheduled for deletion
  • All associated personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days
  • This includes messaging data, media files, integration data, and account-related information

Once the deletion process is completed, the data cannot be recovered.

  1. Messaging Platform Data

Asistone processes messaging data on behalf of its users as a data processor.

  • Messaging data is deleted together with the user account
  • Messaging data is not retained for advertising purposes
  • Messaging data is not used to train AI models

Requests related to platform-provided data may also be subject to the policies of the relevant messaging platform.

  1. Campaign and Marketing Data

Asistone processes campaign and marketing data on behalf of users.

WhatsApp Campaign Data:

  • Customer contact lists uploaded by users are deleted upon user request or account deletion
  • Campaign history and delivery data are deleted together with the account
  • Users can request deletion of specific campaign data without deleting their entire account

Meta Marketing API Data:

  • OAuth connections to Meta accounts can be disconnected at any time through account settings
  • Advertising performance data retrieved from Meta is deleted upon account deletion
  • Disconnecting the Meta integration does not automatically delete previously retrieved data; deletion occurs upon account deletion or explicit request
  1. E-Commerce Data

Asistone processes e-commerce data (including Shopify data) on behalf of merchants.

  • Uninstalling e-commerce integrations (e.g., Shopify App) does not automatically delete stored data
  • E-commerce data is deleted only upon account deletion or explicit deletion request
  • This approach ensures data continuity when merchants reconnect their stores
  1. Payment and Billing Data

Asistone processes payment data through iyzico, a third-party payment service provider.

  • Asistone does not store full credit card numbers; payment processing is handled by iyzico
  • Billing records (invoices, transaction history, subscription details) are retained for the legally required period
  • Payment and billing records are retained for up to 10 years for tax and accounting compliance purposes
  • This data cannot be deleted upon account deletion due to legal requirements
  • Upon account deletion, payment data will be retained only for compliance purposes and will not be used for any other purpose
  1. Log and Backup Data
  • System and security logs are retained for up to 3 years with sensitive data masked
  • Logs are maintained solely for security, auditing, and compliance purposes
  • Backup data is overwritten or deleted according to standard retention cycles
  1. Legal and Compliance Exceptions

In certain cases, Asistone may retain limited data where required by applicable laws or regulatory obligations:

  • Payment and billing records: Retained for up to 10 years for tax and accounting compliance
  • Security logs: Retained for up to 3 years for auditing and legal purposes
  • Legal dispute data: Retained until resolution of any ongoing legal matters

Such data will be retained only for the legally required duration and securely deleted thereafter.

  1. Confirmation of Deletion

Once a data deletion request has been processed, Asistone may provide confirmation via email upon request.

  1. Changes to This Policy

This Data Deletion Policy may be updated from time to time. Any material changes will be published on our websites.
